SwiftNinePay believes responsible growth starts with how we operate and who we choose to work with. Our approach covers responsible supply chains, fair business practices, customer protection, our team, and reducing unnecessary environmental impact where we can.
Responsible Supply Chain
We expect suppliers and logistics partners to operate lawfully and to maintain fair, safe working conditions for the people they employ.
Our supplier standards and the action we take when concerns arise are set out in the SwiftNinePay Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.
Alongside labour practices, suppliers are reviewed on product quality and operating standards. Persistent problems in either area may end the relationship.
Our People
SwiftNinePay employs more than 100 people in Sharjah, most of whom came up through e-commerce operations rather than software or banking.
We aim to provide a professional working environment where employees are treated fairly, hold clear responsibilities, receive fair pay, and have support to develop their skills.
Responsible Commerce
We expect merchants using SwiftNinePay to sell lawful products and to communicate accurately with their customers, including clear pricing, refund, delivery, and cancellation terms.
Some business categories fall outside what we will support. These are set out in our Prohibited Industries List, and merchants operating in them are not onboarded.
Our fraud screening, dispute management, fulfillment controls, and customer support processes exist to support responsible transactions and to address problems when they arise.
Data and Customer Protection
We handle personal information in line with applicable data-protection requirements and the commitments set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Access to customer and merchant information is limited to operational need, with controls applied to how that information is stored and disposed of.
Environmental Responsibility
Our fulfillment operations involve packaging and international transport, both of which carry an environmental cost.
Where practical, we work with suppliers and logistics partners to cut unnecessary packaging and to remove avoidable inefficiency from the way orders move.
We have not set a formal emissions target. We would rather publish one once we can measure and evidence it than commit to a figure we cannot stand behind.
Accountability
Responsibility for this policy sits with SwiftNinePay management.
We review our business practices as the company grows and as our merchant, supplier, payment-partner, and logistics relationships develop.
This policy is reviewed annually and updated where our operations or obligations change.
